Affordable Housing
The City of White Plains Affordable Housing Rental Program (ARHP) offers access to rental units at various sites in the downtown.  Currently, there are over 100 rental units provided in seven apartment buildings.  Apartment rents are established at two tiers as determined by the City of White Plains Affordable Rental Housing Rules and Procedures.  Income limits and maximum monthly rents are determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for Westchester County and are updated annually.
