Neighborhood Housing Rehabilitation – Contractors Page

The Neighborhood Housing Rehabilitation Program has helped preserve and improve neighborhoods in White Plains since 1975. This program has helped to rehabilitate over 4,600 housing units in the City utilizing over $14 million in federal funds.  Through the Community Development Program, the City offers loans at below-market rates to income qualified property owners.  Priority is given to repairs that eliminate health or safety hazards such as heating, plumbing or electrical work.  Typical home repairs also include roofing, siding and window replacement, carpentry, masonry, drainage, etc.

The City of White Plains Community Development Program maintains an open list of pre-qualified, licensed and insured architects, engineers and contractors.  Only pre-qualified professionals are eligible to submit bids.  If your firm is interested in being on the City’s pre-qualified list, please complete the Qualifications Form for Architects & Engineers and/or Contractors.

The City of White Plains Community Development Program is committed to meeting and surpassing any guidelines for the support of Minority-owned and Women-owned Business Enterprise (MBE-WBE) Business in our city.
