Annual Licenses Certificates
The Department of Building issues annual licenses for the following types of uses:

1. Boiler License required for all Commercial locations and Multi-Family dwelling with 6 or more units. $50/75
2. License for Commercial Cooking and Kitchen Exhaust and Grease Duct Systems. $50
3. License for Smoke/Purge Control Systems.$50
4. Chief Stationary Engineer's License. $75
5. First Class Stationary Engineer's License. $75
6. Second Class Stationary Engineer's License. $75
7. Refrigeration Operators License. $75
VERTICAL TRANSPORTATION LICENSES: Contact Bill Hauschild- Sr. Code Enforcement Officer
1. Elevator & Escalator License. $275
2. Dumbwaiter, Conveyor, Sidewalk Elevator and Casket Lift License. $65
3. Automotive Lifts and Miscellaneous Hoisting Equipment License. $45
4. Annual Hoisting License. $100

1. Wall or Ground Sign License. $50
2. Roof Sign License. $100
