Bits N' Pieces Tutorial Camp
For White Plains youth entering grades 1-5. A six week camp providing computers, swimming, classroom instruction, cultural activities, arts & crafts and field trips. Breakfast, lunch and snacks included. Camp is located at Thomas H. Slater Center, 2 Fisher Court, White Plains.  It runs Monday - Friday,  8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. July 5 - August 11. Registration: $425 fee, scholarships are available.

DeKalb Summer Program
Youth development activities for White Plains youth ages 6 -11 who live at 86 DeKalb. Activities include: swimming, arts & crafts, indoor and outdoor games, daily reading, computers, cultural activities, social skills development and just plain fun.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. July 6 - August 13.
Registration begins June 14 - June 26 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00p.m. at the DeKalb Teen Lounge.
No fee; space is limited so register early.

(Y.E.S.) Youth Employment Services
For White Plains youth ages 14 - 21 seeking summer employment. Job readiness, self-esteem, money management and employment skills are taught prior to summer job placements and referrals in a  wide variety of fields. The summer employment program is a six week program which begins on July 5 the and runs until August 11.
Applications may be picked up at the Youth Bureau, 11 Amherst Place between 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Summer Excel
For White Plains youth entering grades 6-8th in September.  Each of 3 two week sessions will include a variety of activities pertaining to the theme that has been chosen.                  Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m at Ridgeway Middle School.
Session 1: July 5 - July 21
Session 2: July 25 - August 4
Session 3: August 7 - August 18
Registration forms are available at the Youth Bureau. Fees: $75 for one session; $150 for two sessions; $175 for all three.  Limited scholarships are available.  Limited transportation also available.  Space is limited so register early.
