StoryWalk, a partnership between the City of White Plains Recreation and Parks Department and the White Plains Public Library, combines a children’s story with a popular walking route. The StoryWalk is a great way to inspire parents, teachers, and care givers to take young children on a short stroll and introduce them to a new book at the same time.
This month’s StoryWalk will run through Monday October 5th, 2020. Look for updates on the changing stories on the Recreation and Parks Department website.
Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn by Kenard Pak, embraces the beauty of the changing season from summer to fall. As trees sway in the cool breeze, blue jays head south, and leaves change their colors, everyone knows--autumn is on its way!
