The launch of One White Plains was announced on June 16th. Since the process to update the Comprehensive Plan was announced, the City, along with its consultants BFJ Planning, has jumped into Phase I, called ‘Imagine White Plains.’ During this phase we have focused on initial community engagement, including a Listening Tour (with 13 dates and locations around the city), a Visioning Survey that is still open for public response on the One White Plains website, and research and review of prior planning studies in White Plains on the part of the One White Plains team.
The November 18th public workshop will wrap up Phase I by presenting the draft Vision Statement and Planning Goals and gathering additional public feedback at interactive open house stations.
Format of the Opening Public Workshop:
- By 7:00 PM - Gather at the White Plains Performing Arts Center
- 7:00-7:20 pm: Welcome and Introduction (Theater)
- 7:20-9:00 pm: Facilitated Open House Stations (Mall lobby area in front of WPPAC)
