Mayor Thomas M. Roach and the White Plains Recreation & Parks Department in cooperation with the Jill E. Solomon Foundation will host a FREE Bicycle Safety Day on Saturday, May 21. The Bicycle Safety Rally will be held at Delfino Park located on 110 Lake St. from 10am until noon. Exciting activities planned for the day includes: helmet fitting, bike inspections, bicycle safety rodeo, giveaways, music and refreshments. There will be a Learn to Ride Program for children. You must bring your bike to participate and be a White Plains resident. Ages 3 - 12. Free bike helmets to White Plains residents who register (limited quantity available).
