The City of White Plains Memorial Day Parade takes place Monday May 29th

Memorial day 2023

The 2023 Parade Grand Marshal is Charles Mebane, Sr.and we honor Theodore J. Lee, Jr. as the  Veteran Honoree (deceased).

This is our longest parade route, and there are plenty of comfortable spots to view the parade. We hope to see you there.

In observance of Memorial Day, all City offices will be closed on Monday, May 29th and there will be no garbage pick-up. There will be no paper recycling next week. Paper recycling will resume on Wednesday, June 7th.

If you live on a Monday / Thursday collection route, your trash will be collected on Tuesday and Thursday next week. If you live on a Tuesday / Friday collection route, your trash will be collected on Wednesday and Friday. Mixed recycling will be picked up as usual.
