If you paid your taxes by check in person at City Hall on January 25th or January 26th, or by check mailed to City Hall between January 20th and January 26th, please check your bank account to see if your check was cashed. Checks given to the City between these times may have been involved in a theft in transit to the bank. If your check has not been cashed, you should stop payment on the check and contact the Department of Finance to arrange to provide a replacement check.
