The Urban Forest Project, The City of White Plains Public works, and Westchester CCE is teaming up to tackle our mission, planting 600 trees in the next 3 years! Pending in December, we will begin planting trees in select areas in White Plains, NY.
From this major project, we are doing a community Adopt a Tree Program (Tree Watchers). Do you want to be involved in your community? We can tell you how! When our beautiful native trees have been planted, you can adopt a small bundle of 10 trees! For this, some of the fun things you will do are:
-Attend a Tree Watchers presentation with CCE
-Name your trees
-Visit your trees and watch them grow
-Create a social media account for your trees so others can appreciate them as well
More information will be provided once you have signed up! (flyer below)
