A valet parking service conducted entirely on private property does not require a permit.
Use of City of White Plains streets, sidewalks, or rights-of-way for the operation of valet parking services is restricted by Chapter 4-27 of the White Plains Municipal Code and requires a Valet Operating Permit issued by the Department of Parking. Valet Operating Permits will only be issued where on-street loading areas have been approved by the Common Council under recommendation of the Transportation Commission.
